Le terme <em>pastilla<\/em> est d\u2019origine espagnole, d\u00e9riv\u00e9 du terme <em>pasta<\/em> (p\u00e2te, en fran\u00e7ais).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La version traditionnelle est faite \u00e0 base de pigeon, mais on trouve l\u00e0 encore plusieurs variantes. Servie lors des f\u00eates et des r\u00e9ceptions, elle peut \u00eatre sucr\u00e9e ou sal\u00e9e, cette derni\u00e8re version \u00e9tant la plus courante. Une entr\u00e9e qui s\u2019invite \u00e0 tous les festins : les mariages, les naissances, les circoncisions, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La pastilla traditionnelle marocaine est devenue avec le temps une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence culinaire. La version volaille (avec le pigeon) ou du poulet et amandes est la plus couramment cuisin\u00e9e.
